DiningCity & AMEX Jointly Present Hong Kong Restaurant Week 2013

More than 70 restaurants across Hong Kong’s major dining destinations have confirmed their participation in the fourth Hong Kong Restaurant Week to be held from 25 February to 3 March 2013, presented by DiningCity and American Express.

“The Restaurant Week concept gives diners the opportunity to try out restaurants at an affordable price, and restaurants to woo new customers by showcasing their cuisine in the form of a fixed price menu,” says Mr Onno Schreurs, DiningCity.com’s Managing Director for China and Hong Kong. “From experience we know that the most popular restaurants will be booked up within minutes.”

During the week-long event, each participating restaurant will offer an exclusive Restaurant Week multi-course, fixed-price menu, at both lunch and dinner.  There will be three pricing categories: Category A (lunch HK$248/dinner HK$438), Category B (lunch HK$158/dinner HK$328), Category C (lunch HK$98/dinner HK$258).

Reservations will be available online via the special DiningCity website www.restaurantweek.hk from 4 p.m. on 6 February, 2013. American Express Cardmembers can enjoy exclusive priority online booking from 31 January to 4 February 2013.

Diners are also invited to share their reviews and feedback on Diningcity.hk on their dining experience in terms of quality of food, service and atmosphere.

The Hong Kong Restaurant Week (www.restaurantweek.hk) is launched by international online dining guide and restaurant reservations platform DiningCity.com.

Restaurant Week is a concept that was started in New York in 1998, and since then has expanded globally to become the world’s biggest dining event. It is fast becoming the biggest dining event in Asia, with participation from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Singapore, Shanghai and Beijing.
